There is a grass and brush fire southeast of the Village of Edgerton in the M.D. of Wainwright No. 61. High winds are pushing the fire and smoke towards the Village of Edgerton. Fire crews are on site and dealing with the situation.

Secondary Highway 610 has been temporarily closed east of Edgerton. Avoid travel on this stretch of road.
