Description: Update 1: Red Deer River expected to rise by up to 20 cm by Wednesday. The Town of Drumheller's mandatory evacuation order for the residents in the community of Wayne and along Hwy 10X is still in effect.
While the mandatory evacuation order is in place, first responders will not be deployed for medical emergencies within the community of Wayne and along Hwy 10X. People remaining in the community of Wayne and along Hwy 10X should not drink their well water. Refer to the AHS Bulletin which can be found at www.ahs.ca/eph (Coping with Emergencies).
Instruction: All impacted residents from Wayne and Hwy 10X should register at the Reception Centre by calling 403-334-2564 or go to the Reception Centre located at the Drumheller Stampede and Ag Society Building. Sandbags are available at Public Works Shop at 117 7th Avenue, East Coulee Water Fill Station and the Rosedale Fire Hall.
