Description: Alberta Emergency Alert: Overland Flow Flood Alert

There is a large amount of water travelling across land. This is leading to localized flooding.

The following roads are closed due to overland flooding: RR 62A from TWP 782A to TWP 781.5; TWP 782 from RR 64 to RR 65; RR 51 from TWP 784 and HWY 49; and low level crossing on RR 45.

Action to take:

• Be aware of areas known to flood easily such as streams, drainage channels
• Avoid driving through low lying areas with water flowing on or over the road
• Listen for further updates and follow the instructions that apply to your area
• Follow the directions of local authorities.
