Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - High Water Level Wheatland County Updated

There are high water levels in area water bodies including the Rosebud River due to spring runoff. This may create dangerous situations or flooding.

Stay tuned to Wheatland County website for further updates www.wheatlandcounty.ca. Practical information on coping with emergencies can be found online at the Alberta Health Services website at: https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/eph/Page15235.aspx

Action to take:

  • Avoid Rosebud River area and low lying areas
  • Sand bags are available at the Wheatland County Main Public Works Shop
  • The Carseland Fire Hall and Rosebud Grader Shop also have bags and sand available for residents to use.
