Due to recent snow accumulation and subsequent spring weather conditions the MD of Taber is aware of increasing overland drainage. There is immanent hazard to land, property and infrastructure. The MD of Taber discourages landowners from altering or increasing overland drainage. MD of Taber staff are ready to respond when needed. Normal operations will also continue.

Due to recent snow accumulation and subsequent spring weather conditions the MD of Taber is aware of increasing overland drainage. There is immanent hazard to land, property and infrastructure. The MD of Taber discourages landowners from altering or increasing overland drainage. MD of Taber staff are ready to respond when needed. Normal operations will also continue. We encourage residents to report concerns and locations by contacting 403 223 3541, MD Admin office. The areas which are included in this Local State of Emergency include the entire area of the Municipal District of Taber south of the Oldman River. At this time the area most affected lies along Highway 3 between Range Road 16-3 and Range Road 17-3 south to Township Road 9-0.
