Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Water Supply Alert

The Village of Delburne is advising its residents that there is no water within the village. Public works are on scene working hard to resolve this issue.

It is hoped that the water service will return around one o clock this afternoon, however there is a possibility that the service will not be restored till later this evening. Once water services resume a cautionary boil water advisory will be issued.

Action to take:

  • Water consumers within the village are advised that once water services are restored to boil their water before using it for drinking, cooking, washing food, or brushing teeth
  • The water can be made safe by boiling it for at least one minute at a rolling boil
  • Boiled water should be stored in a clean container in the refrigerator
  • Residents will be advised once water is safe to drink again.
