Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Water Quality Alert Updated

The Boil Water order for the Hamlet of Shaughnessy in Lethbridge County issued by Alberta Health Services is still in effect. Repairs to the broken water main are presently being made. This emergency alert will be cancelled soon but anyone who receives their water from the Hamlet must continue to check the Lethbridge County or the Alberta Health Services websites regarding the Boil Water Order.

Action to take:

  • Everyone who receives their water from the Hamlet of Shaughnessy must bring their water to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute, prior to using this water for drinking or consumption
  • Do not drink or consume this water unless it has been boiled prior to use
  • Go to the Lethbridge County or the Alberta Health Services website for updated information
