Description: RCMP is not recommending travel on Highway 3 from Fort Macleod to the BC border. Extreme weather is creating hazardous conditions. Visibility may be significantly reduced. Snow and ice buildup may cause hazardous driving conditions and increased risk of structural damage or collapse.
A snowfall warning is in effect with 10 to 15 cm of snow expected starting this afternoon and ending overnight tonight.
Instruction: Avoid travel. Visibility will be affected. Follow the directions of local authorities. Listen to local authorities for any updates. Continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by the RCMP and Environment Canada.
