Description: Blowing snow is creating hazardous driving conditions on area highways. Road surface are ice covered in some areas. Visibility may be significantly reduced. Travel is not recommended on Highway 3 from Fort Macleod to Pincher Creek Highway 3 closed due to earlier accident from Highway 6 to Highway 22.
Vehicles are being stopped at Pincher Station and either turned around or routed to Pincher Creek. Parking available in Pincher Creek at UFA, Co-op Mall, behind Wal-mart.
Instruction: There are hazardous road conditions with ice on some sections. Avoid travel. Visibility will be affected by blowing and drifting snow. Avoid the area of Highway 3 West of Pincher Creek. Listen to local authorities for any updates.
