Description: The persistent cold weather continues to disrupt the natural gas supply in the Mackenzie County region. Areas south of La Crete continue to experience natural gas supply outages. The problem is expected to persist until the temperature rises. Natural gas supply trucks have been being brought in to try and maintain gas line pressure.
Instruction: Reception centre established at La Crete Mennonite Heritage Centre. Affected residents encouraged to stay with friends and family who have alternative heat sources.
