Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Traffic Hazard Alert

Road conditions on highway 43 in Lac Ste. Anne County are not safe due to the current weather conditions that include freezing temperatures, and several motor vehicle collisions as a result of the road conditions.

At this time, emergency responders are mitigating a hazardous materials event on highway 43, between range roads 40 and 41, that involves a roll over of a fuel tanker in the centre meridian. The hazardous material event is near the hamlet of Glenevis. There is no danger to area residents.
