Wheatland County has declared a State of Local Emergency. Several Running Wildfires. Community of Gleeshen (Gleichen)is being evacuated. Residents in areas surrounding Carseland and East to Gleeshen (Gleichen) are also affected by fires. Reception Centers are open at Strath more and Standard.

Fire crews on site. Reception centers are located at the Strath more Civic Center located at 120 Brent Boulevard. Also Standard Community Hall at 150 Yorick Avenue in Standard. Reception Center for pets is at Lord of All Lutheran Church in Strath more.
