There is a train derailment in the Kipp Rail Yard north of Coalhurst and a hazardous materials release has occurred. There is no report of the identity or amount of product involved but emergency crews are on scene addressing the problem at this time.

A single rail car was leaking crude oil. CP Rail has stopped the leak. There is no danger to the public at this time. Emergency crews will remain on scene as a precaution while CP Rail crews continue to manage the situation.
