Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Winter Storm Alert Updated

Highway 1 from Strathmore east to Bassano is closed by Alberta Transportation due to hazardous road conditions, because of recent snow and ice in the area. The public is advised to stay indoors in this area and to avoid travel. A number of communities have opened reception centres and a list can be found on the Wheatland County webpage.www.wheatlandcounty.ca
