Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Winter Alert- Highway 3 closure Updated
Highway 3 westbound at Coleman, AB in the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass remains closed due to extremely icy conditions. Please follow the instructions of onsite emergency personnel who are directing traffic. Local roads are extremely icy, crews are out sanding and working on the roads, extreme caution is required.
Action to take:
- Follow the directions of local authorities
- Extremely icy conditions- travel is not advised
- Heavy snow accumulation on roofs is currently melting and causing a risk of snow sloughing or structural damage- watch for overhead hazards.
