Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Roadway Closure Alert
A road closure has resulted in travel disruptions. The Northbound lanes have been closed on Highway #43, approximately 17.5 kilometers northwest of Whitecourt. Traffic is being turned back towards Whitecourt.
A vehicle collision has caused the closure of the northbound traffic lanes. Vehicles are not able to proceed northwest towards Fox Creek or Grande Prairie at this time. At this time there is no estimated time for re-opening.
