Description: Alberta Emergency Alert Tornado Alert Updated
At 10:00 PM, meteorologists are tracking a tornado warned storm 2km East of Didsbury, moving East at 15 km/h. Golfball size hail has been reported with this storm. Highway 2 will be affected.
Area: Mountain View County
Affected areas (6):
- Mountain View County
- Carstairs
- Cremona
- Didsbury
- Olds
- Sundre
Action to take:
- Seek shelter immediately in a basement or reinforced structure if a tornado develops
- Get low and put as many walls between yourself and the storm as possible
- Stay away from windows, doors and outside walls
- If you are on the highway and cannot avoid the tornado, seek shelter in a ditch or ravine
