Heavy snow conditions are affecting townships and range roads throughout the eastern half of Greenview. This area covers from DeBolt to Valleyview, Sunset House, Sweathouse, Ridgevalley, Crooked Creek, Sturgeon Lake and Little Smoky. It does NOT apply to provincial highways. Fallen branches or wires can create dangerous conditions and may cause power outages.

Further information will be posted to Alberta Emergency Alert and www.mdgreenview.ab.ca The ATCO Emergency phone number for power outages or electrical emergencies is 1-800-668-5506. Please be patient when trying to contact service providers as they may be experiencing high call volumes.

Action to take:

• Never touch fallen power lines
• Listen to local authorities for any updates
• Take all necessary precautions
• Contact ATCO if you notice any downed power lines in your area.
