Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Update for Fox Creek & Little Smoky
The Little Smoky area evacuation order has been rescinded at 9:00 a.m. A 2 hour evacuation notice is in effect for the Town of Fox Creek and residents previously evacuated from Little Smoky area. Residents are encouraged to remain calm. If fire conditions change an evacuation order will be issued to ensure public safety.
Follow Alberta Emergency Alert for updates. Information for residents will also be posted to www.mdgreenview.ab.ca and www.foxcreek.ca.
Action to take:
- Take all necessary precautions
- Follow the directions of local authorities
- Visibility will be affected
- There will be a scheduled update at 10:00am and 4:00pm on the Town of Fox Creek webpage, FaceBook and Alberta Emergency Alert.
