An immediate evacuation alert is issued for residents south of Duffield Downs along RR 32. Duffield is located 5 kms south of Highway 16 and 30 kms west of Spruce Grove. Parkland County is also issuing a prepare-to-evacuate alert for residents of the Duffield Downs proper. Residents of Duffield Downs proper should be prepared to evacuate with 10-minute's notice to move.

• Avoid the area on Range Road 32 as it will be closed to incoming traffic
• Residents of Duffield Downs should prepare for possible evacuation
• Follow the directions of local authorities
• Take all necessary precautions
• Evacuate to the reception centre at Manly Hall (2320 Hwy 16).
