Description: Alberta Emergency Alert- Ice Jam Advisory Alert for the Athabasca River from Athabasca to Fort McMurray. Cancelled

Although the Alberta Emergency Alert has ended, the Ice Jam Watch for the Athabasca River remains in effect. The ice jam at Ft. McMurray is still in place. River levels have stabilized but may change rapidly when the ice jam releases. For current advisories and warnings as well as river ice observation reports, visit the Alberta Environment and Parks website.
