Celebrating Alberta’s Olympians and Paralympians

The government also unveiled a display case in the legislature rotunda with Olympic and Paralympic mementos from Games past and present.

Alberta sent 56 athletes and coaches to Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our athletes brought home 10 medals, contributing to Canada’s total of 51 medals at the 2016 Games.
