Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Lac Ste. Anne County has issued an overland flood alert. 

Heavy rainfall over the past 48 hours has resulted in areas of overland flooding and compromised roadways in localized areas. The following roadways are closed at this time: Twp Rd 564, from Hwy 33 east to Rge Rd 25, Twp Rd 540, between Rge Rds 31 & 32, and Twp Rd 574A, between corporate limits of the town of Mayerthorpe and Hwy 43.

Area: This alert is in effect for all of Lac Ste. Anne County.

Action to take:

• Everyone in Lac Ste
• Anne County should avoid travel where possible
• If travel is necessary, obey posted signage and watch for road closures
• Call 911 for emergencies
• Call the County Office at 1-866-880-5722 for flood assistance
• Updated information will be available on the County website at www.LSAC.ca and social media
