The awards honour Albertans who are working across the province, demonstrating leadership in family and community safety, by building healthy relationships and preventing family violence, sexual violence, child sexual abuse and bullying.

“Violence in any form is unacceptable. Many individuals and organizations in our communities play an important role in stopping violence and inspiring action. The valuable work they do deserves to be honoured and celebrated.”

Irfan Sabir, Minister of Human Services
