Quick facts
With the federal appointments announced on June 17, the number of judicial vacancies has been reduced to:
- Court of Appeal: two vacancies remaining, with one in Edmonton, one in Calgary.
- Court of Queen’s Bench: four vacancies remaining, with two in Edmonton, one in Calgary and one not yet assigned to a municipality.
