National Aboriginal Day 2016

The event will feature live performances by Indigenous artists, including First Nations, Metis traditional dance and Inuit throat singing.

National Aboriginal Day was announced in 1996 by then Gov. Gen. Roméo LeBlanc. It is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples.
