Peace River’s Shaftesbury Ferry resumed service on June 15, 2016. The ferry was dry docked for repairs on May 20. The ferry’s pontoon was repaired and tested before it was put back in the water.

The ferry, which operates daily between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., connects Highway 740 over the Peace River to Highway 684.
