Traffic impacts

Northbound lanes of Northeast Anthony Henday Drive will be closed at the Whitemud Drive interchange from 5 a.m. on February 27 to 6 p.m. on February 28.

Northbound traffic will be shifted to the connector-distributor road in a single lane with a reduced speed of 50 km/h. The Whitemud eastbound to Anthony Henday Drive northbound loop ramp and the Whitemud westbound to Anthony Henday Drive northbound directional ramp will also be closed, to ensure the safety of drivers. 

Southbound lanes will be closed at the Whitemud Drive interchange from 5 a.m. on March 5 to 6 p.m. on March 6.

Anthony Henday Drive southbound traffic will be shifted to the connector-distributor road in a single lane with a reduced speed of 60 km/h. The Whitemud westbound to Anthony Henday Drive southbound loop ramp will also be closed.

  • Drivers are reminded to obey all flag persons, signs and signals.
  • Fines for speeding are doubled in construction zones.
