The Alberta Public Agencies Governance Act (APAGA) requires that all public agencies have a Mandate and Roles Document and a Code of Conduct. Both must be made available to the public.  These documents are posted in the list of public agencies for all public agencies subject to the APAGA.

Access Advisory Council

The Access Advisory Council was established to provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Minister regarding the objectives, operation, and reporting of the Access to the Future Fund, including recommendations regarding payments from the fund. The fund was established to support innovation and excellence within Alberta’s advanced learning system (including publicly funded post- secondary institutions, community learning providers, and the apprenticeship and industry training system) with a focus on enhancing and expanding accessible, affordable, and high-quality learning opportunities for Albertans.

Accreditation Committee

Current Opportunity

The Accreditation Committee is responsible for overseeing, reviewing and approving the continuing education providers and courses that brokers, agents, and adjusters must attend each year to maintain their licences. The Committee also approves self-accredited course providers and the allocation of those course credits.
