Municipal Services Training and Development

2019 Regional Traning Sessions

To support ongoing education of chief administrative officers and front line administrative staff, the Municipal Affairs Regional Training Initiative (RTI) provides annual training opportunities for municipal administrators and staff from around the province. The sessions, their format and their content are developed in consultation with the Local Government Administration Association (LGAA) and the Alberta Rural Municipal Administrator’s Association (ARMAA) who are the department’s stakeholder partners in the delivery of the annual RTI.

Training is available for municipal officials in the following areas.

  • September 19, 2019 Olds
  • September 26, 2019 Wainwright
  • October 3, 2019 Grande Prairie
