Synopsis

Spanish/Mixtec-language Drama. In early 1970s Mexico City, a pregnant maid (Yalitza Aparicio) turns to her employer (Marina de Tavira) for help, after her boyfriend (Jorge Antonio Guerrero) abandons her.
