Overview

Farmers' markets are the most popular of the farm direct marketing channels by both vendors and customers alike.

The safety of the food being sold at approved farmers' markets is critical to the success of farmers' markets in Alberta. The Farmers' Market Home Study Course (PDF, 1.4 MB) is required for all market managers and food vendors.
