“Alberta’s government is committed to providing our future generations with opportunities, both in and outside of the classroom, to develop their unique talents, explore their passions and unleash their potential.
“Nurturing young Albertans’ drive for discovery and encouraging them to be problem solvers will help them become confident learners, and set them up for success now and in their future careers.
“On this day, we encourage Albertans to help inspire kids by sharing stories of amazing inventors and their inventions, talking to them about their ideas and exploring ways to put them into action — whether it’s a better way of doing things, a gadget to make life easier, a fun new game or even a delicious new recipe.
“Every new idea, no matter how small or how young the person, has potential with the right support and encouragement to make a positive difference in the lives of others.”
