Handed out on April 15, the awards recognize a variety of categories including the top apprentices and employers - including employers of Indigenous apprentices, instructors and mentors.

“These awards celebrate the hard work, ingenuity and excellence that individuals, employers and instructors bring to the classroom and job site every day. I was proud to present these awards to so many deserving Albertans who help inspire their fellow trades professionals and make Alberta’s trades community so vital to our industries and communities.”

Marlin Schmidt, Minister of Advanced Education

The complete list of recipients of the 2016 Board Awards is found on TradeSecrets, Apprenticeship and Industry Training’s website.
