(Ret’d) the Honourable Donald S. Ethell. “I know that their stories and their many contributions will serve to inspire their fellow Albertans now and in the future.”

The new AOE members chosen for investiture in 2013 are:
Cpt. Douglas Eaglesham, Cayley (community service/youth programs, military, politics)
Dr. Roger Gibbins, Calgary (public service/public policy, advanced education)
Douglas O. Goss, Edmonton (business, community service)
Dr. George W. Govier, Calgary (energy, engineering)
James (Jim) Marshall, Medicine Hat (fine arts, culture/heritage)
Hon. Anne McLellan, Edmonton (politics, law, advanced education)
Catherine Roozen , Edmonton (business, health/community service)
Hon. Capt (N) William (Bill) Wilson, Calgary (military, community service)

The Lieutenant Governor of Alberta serves as Chancellor of the Order. He will preside over the investiture ceremony in Edmonton on Wednesday, October 16. This will bring the total AOE membership to 132.
