Alberta Agriculture and Forestry (AF) is hosting a number of webinars in June that look at pricing for local food producers and processors. AF new venture specialist Marissa Brewer is the presenter, and the webinars take place on June 18 and 25, 2020 at 11:30 am.
Pricing 101 - Know your Cost of Production/Break Even Points on June 18 will help solve the mystery of pricing food products. The webinar will look at the importance of knowing your actual cost of production and will provide insight when determining your break even point. The webinar will show how use that knowledge to make sound business decisions.
Pricing 101 - Adjusting for Change on June 25 will focus on the basics of pricing and how change can affect those prices once product costs are figured out. It will look at how to determine a fair price for your food products, their accuracy and whether you are leaving money on the table or charging too much.
