Premier Rachel Notley

Sarah Hoffman has served as Minister of Health since May of 2015. She’s proud to support a strong, sustainable, public health care system and making sure all Albertans have access to the health care services they need close to home.

She’s been committed to public service from early on in her career and pursued opportunities in politics, after graduating with Bachelor and Master of Education degrees from the University of Alberta. She also holds bachelors of both science and arts from Concordia University of Alberta.

Ms. Hoffman was previously elected as a trustee for the Edmonton public school board, eventually becoming board chair from 2012 to 2014.

Working to make life better for Alberta families by creating new jobs, supporting healthier, stronger workplaces and protecting the education, health and social programs that Albertans depend on is a priority for Minister Hoffman.

In addition to serving as Minister of Health, Ms. Hoffman is Alberta’s Deputy Premier. She is also honoured and proud to be the MLA for Edmonton-Glenora.
