Courses and benefits
The Alberta Victims Services AVS 100 e-Learning program offers 35 courses on issues that include:
- advocate self-care
- impact of trauma
- court orientation
- domestic violence
Compared to classroom training, e-Learning:
- reduces training costs
- improves access for those in rural and remote communities and remote areas
- delivers consistent advocate training quickly and efficiently
Eligibility
You can use this e-Learning program if you’re a victim services:
- advocate or staff member (includes police services and community-funded programs)
- stakeholder
- board member
- police liaison
