Alberta Environment (now Alberta Environment and Parks) developed Fifth Generation NCAR/Penn State Mesoscale Model version 3.5 (MM5) meteorological data for all of Alberta, for 2002-2006. The data can be extracted using software to run regulatory models. Supporting documentation for the data sets can be found in:

The MM5 data is 12 kilometre grid and a total of 30 vertical layers. The data domain extents are shown in the table.
