Once legislated, the Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation will support job creating investments from Indigenous communities.

Helps Indigenous community-owned businesses capitalize on business development opportunities to improve socio-economic outcomes.

Supports Indigenous community-owned businesses / organizations to identify and plan for economic opportunities.

Supports initiatives that help Indigenous communities and Indigenous serving organizations connect their members to employment.

Introduction

Indigenous Relations works to build partnerships between Indigenous communities and organizations and industry, other levels of government and non-Indigenous organizations to enhance the participation of Indigenous people in the economy.
