When you visit an Alberta Supports or Alberta Works centre, our Income Support service standards ensure that:

  1. you will be able to talk to us about your needs today
  2. you will be helped today if you are facing an emergency
  3. you will be offered an appointment to take place within five business days if your need is not an emergency
  4. you will receive your benefits within five business days of approval
