Public transportation

The Edmonton Federal Building can be reached by:

  • a number of ETS buses stop at Government Centre transit centre, next to the Federal Building
  • LRT routes (Metro and Capital lines): disembark at Grandin/Gov’t Centre station

Main entrance

Enter through the West Entrance glass doors on the side of the Federal Building facing Capital Plaza.


Paid parking is available on 99 Avenue next to the Federal Building.


Admission to the Edmonton Federal Building is free.

Legislative Assembly Visitor Centre

The visitor centre on the main floor of the Edmonton Federal Building welcomes the public all year round. It features:

  • full wheelchair access
  • public washrooms
  • Alberta Branded retail store
  • 80-seat theatre
  • exhibition spaces
