On May 5, 2004 the Alberta government adopted a new policy on the mandatory publication of international travel expenses for Ministers, MLAs and Ministers' office staff.

Minister Knight also met with representatives of the banking and investment community to highlight opportunities in Alberta and helped commemorate the 5th anniversary of the Alberta United Kingdom Office at Canada House. The Minister also updated the United Kingdom government about activities in Alberta, in particular Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and the Provincial Energy Strategy.
