Alberta Agriculture and Forestry (AF) is organizing this free, educational webinar on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, from 10 to 11:15 am MT.

Food supplements come in many shapes and sizes - containing vitamins, minerals, botanicals and other substances. According to Euromonitor, the European dietary supplement market is forecast to reach 26.2 billion U.S. dollars by 2024, growing at an annual rate of 4.6% between 2019 and 2024.

Europeans perceive dietary supplements as products that improve health and wellness. The purchase of such products is considered as a preventive measure to health disorders. Health professionals across the region recommend dietary supplements to their patients to combat health challenges. Europe’s aging population, higher health care costs and a desire to stay healthier are some of the drivers behind the surge in popularity of dietary supplements.

This interactive session will provide a dynamic overview of opportunities in Europe and will focus on distribution channels in the key markets of Germany, the U.K., Switzerland, Italy and others.

Gerald Lawson-Tancred, director of Xtend2 Limited, is the webinar presenter.
