Overview
The Cultural Industry Grants, under the Alberta Media Fund, provides funding for projects and organizations involved in book publishing, magazine publishing, sound recording and film production.
Grants are divided into the following 5 streams to help organizations cover operating or project expenses:
- Book Publishers Operating Grant
- Magazine Publishers Operating Grant
- Music Organization Operating Grant
- Organizations Project Grant
- Support Organization Operating Grant

| Organizations Project Grant | Up to $20,000 | June 1 annually at 11:59 pm. | Project Expenses related to book and magazine publishing, film production or sound recording. |
| Support Organizations Operating Grant | $50,000 for operating expenses. Up to 50% for expenses above $50,000. | June 1 annually at 11:59 pm. | Only organizations that have been designated by Alberta Arts, Culture and Status of Women are eligible for funding under this grant. |
