A few growers offer u-cut Christmas trees in the province, and another option to consider for a freshly cut tree is to cut your own on provincial Crown land within Alberta’s Green Area.
The needed TM66 permit can be purchased online or from participating Agriculture and Forestry offices. The cost is $5 and the permit is good for 30 days after purchase.
