A Public Lands Camping Pass is required to random camp on public land along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains.

Age restrictions
In Alberta, no one under the age of 14 years may operate an off-highway vehicle or snow vehicle unless accompanied by an adult. Additional information can be found at: Traffic Safety Act.
Watch for wildlife
Black bears, grizzly bears and other wildlife live in the Bighorn Backcountry. Please exercise caution if you encounter any wildlife on the trails. See:
