Craft Spirits Berlin is one of Europe's most important fairs for "handcrafted spirits" and brings producers together with restaurateurs, retailers and hotel buyers. At the same time, it is the starting point for an interested lay public who can taste and shop here.

This 3-day program may include:

  • Tabletop displays to showcase 6 to 10 Alberta craft distilleries
  • German retail store tours in the Berlin area
  • Business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking session for participating companies

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in this mission you must be an Alberta craft distillery that is export-ready and determined to enter new export markets or channels.

Eligible expenses

Companies may have to pay for their own logistics/shipping of products to the show. However, we will be working with a freight forwarder who can consolidate and ship products to reduce the total costs for participating companies.

Companies may be eligible for a grant to help offset travel costs through The Canadian Agricultural Partnership program under Products to Market – Stream B.

Please refer to the Terms and Conditions (PDF, 203 KB) for details on eligible expenses outlined in the Funding list (PDF, 562 KB).

The decision to proceed with this initiative is dependent on the level of interest received from companies.
