COVID-19

The Government of Alberta works hard to provide supports in various languages to Albertans. We are an inclusive province that is stronger because of our diverse population, but sometimes with diversity comes barriers, such as language.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is especially important that all Albertans have the information they need to keep themselves and each other safe. That is why our community partners have developed COVID-19 Public Service Announcements (PSAs) in several languages to help inform and support people who don’t have English as their first language.

You can access PSAs and additional supports on the Immigrant Services Calgary website.

I urge you to listen to and share these PSAs with people you know who could benefit from getting information in their first language. Covid care information is available in Amharic, Arabic, Cantonese, English, Farsi, French, Hindi, Mandarin, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, Tigrinya and Urdu. Call 1-833-217-6614.
