2019 Designated Industrial Non-Linear Property Request for Information

On August 30, 2019, the Request for Information (RFI) package was mailed to all owners/operators of designated industrial property (buildings, structures, machinery and equipment) in Alberta. Property owners must respond to this RFI within sixty (60) days of the request with responses due back to the assigned assessor by October 30, 2019.

Please note that responses to the 2019 Assessment Year RFI may be used to prepare a 2019 Tax Year Supplementary Assessment notice in municipalities that have passed a supplementary bylaw.

2018 Designated Industrial Non-linear Property Assessment for the 2019 Tax Year

On February 28, 2019, the annual 2018 Designated Industrial Non-linear Property Assessment was mailed to the assessed persons (owners/operators of designated industrial property) with a copy to the affected municipalities.

A complaint about an assessment for designated industrial property must have been filed on or before May 7, 2019 as pursuant to s. 309(1) of the Municipal Government Act.
